About Erik Bilicki
Erik Bilicki writes horror fiction rooted in real landscapes — the kind of places that feel beautiful until the sun goes down. He grew up in Michigan and has lived in New York, California, and Minnesota since 2007.
His debut horror collection Old Hungers: What Lingers in the Trees hit #1 on Amazon and was called "the perfect book for those looking to embrace the darkness" by the Brainerd Dispatch. His second collection, The Long Way Still, debuted as a #1 Amazon Bestseller in three categories before its April 2026 launch. He is also the author of the horror novella Kushtaka, drawn from Tlingit legend and the Alaskan wilderness.
Erik's sci-fi debut, Enemy Calling: Descent, was originally published in 2006. A full reimagining of that world is in development.
He lives in Rosemount, Minnesota with his family. Find him on Amazon, Goodreads, and LinkedIn.
